Anna Bonjour

Performing

Anna is from Fort Collins, Colorado where she received her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from Colorado State University. During her time there she performed with the Ralph Opera Program with roles in several productions including the Second Lady in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Mrs. Anderssen in Sondheim's A Little Night Music, and the understudy for the title role in Handel's Serse. She joined the program for the ensembles of Vaughan Williams' Riders to the Sea, Gluck's Orfeo, Strauss' Die Fledermaus, and Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. She has been delighted to participate in the Music in the Museum series at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art along with several benefit concerts for local nonprofits.

Since college she has continued to study voice with her own teacher, and has primarily sung at her local church where she leads the youth worship band. She also counts singing in her kitchen while she makes dinner and belting show tunes in the car with her sister as legitimate and important musical activities!

Teaching

Anna began teaching privately in 2017 and finds immense joy in helping others to sing joyfully in pursuit of their musical goals. Always a choir kid, she worked as a Graduate Assistant with Centennial Children's Chorus for seven years. After COVID, she took some time off of private teaching to explore other career possibilities, but the road keeps winding back to her passion for helping everyone who wants to sing find the confidence to do it. She couldn't be more excited to be back in 2026!
